Shortened Day Wednesday 14th October 2015

Dear Parents,

On Wednesday 14th October the Academy will have a shortened day to allow for an extended staff training session on performance management and assessment. Students will leave the Academy at 1:05pm. If your child is entitled to a free school meal they will be able to collect a packed lunch as they leave the Academy.

Sixth form lessons will run as normal throughout the Academy day.

This time will allow us to focus on key academy improvement targets. We will be informing you very soon about our new methods of assessing key stage 3.

In addition to this the Academy will be launching a new homework policy this term and will be publishing the details of our arrangements the week beginning 12th October.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely

Mr C Hilton
