Teaching English in Flanders Fields

In the Autumn term, two lucky Harborne students, Josh Milke and Ignacio Camino Gonzalez,  participated in a Government sponsored Literature tour of the battlefields and cemeteries of the First World War. The National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE) joined the tour and has recently published an in-depth feature in their magazine, detailing the experiences our students were able to enjoy.

Harborne Academy is open on Saturdays for students to catch up on coursework and revise for exams.
Hundreds of students from schools across the region have been competing in the Apax-Mosaic Enterprise Challenge.
  School once threatened with closure celebrates turnaround success with state-of-the-art building and links with global employers.  
Harborne Academy pupils produced another fantastic set of GCSE results today, with 99% of students gaining 5 GCSEs at grade A-C.
With a new building, new uniform and new logo – we had to have a new website too! We hope you like the new design and we will be adding to the content over the next few weeks.
We are very excited that we have now moved in to our new building!
